PART-TIME BARISTA

POSITION SUMMARY

Half Full Brewery currently operates a coffee shop, restaurant, beer garden and private event space at its Third Place by Half Full Brewery location at 575 Pacific Street in Stamford.

The Barista will be responsible for delivering a fantastic customer experience to everyone at Third Place. This includes but is not limited to:

  • Greeting and hosting all customers
  • Taking and delivering coffee/tea and food orders to customers in a timely manner, both for onsite consumption and for pickup / online orders
  • Properly serving our products to customers, including coffee / tea and food
  • Educating customers on our coffee/tea and food products
  • Bussing tables and clearing of any trash to keep customer spaces immaculate
  • Managing the inventory and the Toast point of sale systems
  • Undergoing regular training

EXPECTED SHIFTS:

Shifts may vary depending on the day, and shifts will include but not limited to Weekdays and Weekends from 7:30AM-3PM. This position will require weekend availability.

A passion for hand-crafted beverages and an optimistic demeanor are paramount to this position.

THE RIGHT CANDIDATE WILL:

  • Be 21+ and have the ability to work around alcohol without abusing it
  • Have prior experience in a customer service or food & beverage service role
  • Coffee shop experience preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate!
  • Have a passion for delivering a world-class customer experience
  • Be able to lift and carry up to 50lbs

COMPENSATION:

  • $16.35/hour plus tips

PART-TIME BARTENDER / SERVER

POSITION SUMMARY

Half Full Brewery currently operates a coffee shop, restaurant, beer garden and private event space at its Third Place by Half Full Brewery location at 575 Pacific Street in Stamford.  We are seeking highly motivated bartenders to join our staff.

Bartenders/servers are responsible for delivering a fantastic customer experience to everyone at Third Place.  This includes but is not limited to:

  • Greeting customers and anticipating their needs
  • Taking and delivering beer, drinks, and food orders in a timely manner, both for onsite consumption and for pickup orders
  • Properly serving our products to customers, including draft beer, cocktails, wine, and food
  • Educating customers on the Half Full Brewery products and brand
  • Managing inventory and Toast point of sale systems
  • Bussing tables and clearing any trash to keep customer spaces immaculate
  • Ensuring that alcohol related laws, regulations and procedures are followed and that customers are not over-served
  • Staffing private events

PART-TIME LINE COOK

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled BOH staff member to join our culinary team as we continue to expand our kitchen, alongside other culinary endeavors that could include food trucks, catering, etc.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and standards.
  • Assist in meal preparation, including chopping, slicing, and dicing ingredients.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, following all state and local health regulations.
  • Ensure all food handling procedures comply with health and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
  • Help with inventory management by tracking food supplies and notifying management of shortages.
  • Operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively, including knives and cooking appliances.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a cook in a restaurant, food truck, or catering environment is preferred.
  • Knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations preferred.
  • Knife skills and familiarity with various cooking technique and equipment preferred.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
  • ServSafe Food Handler certification required; holding certification is a plus, we will provide if not currently certified.

Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
