FAQs
OPEN BAR? DON’T MIND IF I DO!
Our beverage packages range from $30 to $40 per person. Prices are based on a three hour open bar – you can extend your party for an additional fee! All private events have a 25 person minimum, and all guests over the age of 21 are included.
SPACE RENTAL
While our Barrel Room has a standard rate, our Nook and Beer Garden spaces are subject to peak pricing. Because our beverage packages are based on a three hour open bar, we have a three hour minimum room rental fee – we want to make sure you’re getting your money’s worth!
FOOD
Our kitchen is open Tuesday-Sunday from 8am-5pm and the Coalhouse Pizza truck is open Tuesday-Sunday 5pm-9pm. If you prefer to order catering in advance, just let us know!
STAFF
Private bartender and beer expert in one! Inquire about the different beers on tap and let our staff members introduce you and your guests to their new favorite brews!

FINANCIALS
A 20% deposit of the gross estimate is required to secure the booking. The final invoice will be sent 3 days prior to the party and must be paid prior to the start of the party. If not paid by the due date on the final invoice, the card on file will be charged.
Gratuities are not included in your invoice, so don’t forget to tip your bartender!
All parties include an 18% administrative charge for planning, staffing, supplies, maintenance, cleaning, and software/transaction fees.
PARKING
We share a parking lot with our neighbors and standard bar patrons, so parking is limited. However, guests can always find somewhere to park within 1-2 blocks. Street parking is available on Pacific St, Garden St, and Towne St. There is a large, free parking lot at 711 Canal St. and a paid parking lot is available at 600 Atlantic St. The nearest parking garage (Maritime Garage) is just a short walk away – please note this garage is cash-only.
In his influential book The Great Good Place, Ray Oldenburg argues that third places — social surroundings separate from the two usual social environments of home (“first place”) and the workplace (“second place”) — are important for civil society, democracy, civic engagement, and establishing feelings of a sense of place. We want our Third Place to be your third place outside of home and work and that’s why we try to offer guests as many options here as possible coffee and coworking in the morning, a massive bar filled with our own local beer and cocktails on tap, regular live music, a private event space, a small seasonal beer garden, and more!
